FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT COMES WITH MY REGISTRATION?
Not only are you accessing a beautifully designed, well flagged course, and 5 timed descents, you'll be getting feed stations, swag, fed after the race and a rad after party!
WHAT IS AN ENDURO?
Good question; we recommend you take a look at this Pinkbike intro to enduros. Basically, the uphills are untimed, and the timed parts come in 5 downhill stages. You can ride with your friends, and at the end, we collect all the stages’ times to find a winner.
DO I NEED TO BE AN ADVANCED RIDER?
Nope. You can absolutely participate at any level. Trails will be intermediate, but we encourage everyone to come out and give it their all. If you want to walk a more difficult section, that is totally fine.
HOW DOES THE TIMING AND DESCENDING WORK?
It is a race made up of multiple stages. You climb to the top of the stage and then race down. The climbing part is not timed and for this race there are no cut-off times so you can relax, pace yourself, walk if you want. Once you are at the top of the stage it’s game on! You race down one at a time, or train it, with your time starting and stopping at designated areas. The downhill timed sections will have riders starting at timed intervals – 30 seconds between each rider. We ask you to self seed at registration; if you know you’re gunning it, go out first. If you’re going to relax and cruise with friends, we recommend you let others go first.
WHAT IF I HAVE TO CANCEL OR CAN NO LONGER ATTEND?
Registration is non-refundable, however, we do have a waiting list and transfers are permitted for $25 fee which the (cancelled rider pays). We will organize all this on our end. Email us to give up your spot or get on the wait list.
THE AFTER PARTY
This party is not one to miss. We’ll have music, drinks, and a hot dance floor.
We’ll be including a ticket to the party as part of your race registration, but we’ll be selling extras as well! Stay tuned for more info.
