FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT COMES WITH MY REGISTRATION?
You get a small level appropriate group which guides you through the course. You will receive a meal support station half way through the event and a sand which after. You will also get dinner and beer around the fire in the evening.

WHAT IS AN ENDURO?
Good question; we recommend you take a look at this Pinkbike intro to enduros. Basically, the uphills are untimed, and the timed parts come in 5 downhill stages. You can ride with your friends, and at the end, we collect all the stages’ times to find a winner.

DO I NEED TO BE AN ADVANCED RIDER?
For the Advanced course yes!
We suggest you are able to ride 30kms and climb roughly 700 meters. Trails will be event level appropriate, but we encourage everyone to come out and give it their all. If you want to walk a more difficult section, that is totally fine.

HOW DOES THE TIMING AND DESCENDING WORK?
It is a race made up of multiple stages. You climb to the top of the stage and then race down. The climbing part is not timed and for this race there are no cut-off times so you can relax, pace yourself, walk if you want. Once you are at the top of the stage it’s game on! You race down one at a time, or train it, with your time starting and stopping at designated areas. The downhill timed sections will have riders starting at timed intervals – 30 seconds between each rider. We ask you to self seed at registration; if you know you’re gunning it, go out first. If you’re going to relax and cruise with friends, we recommend you let others go first.

WHAT IF I HAVE TO CANCEL OR CAN NO LONGER ATTEND?
Registration is non-refundable, unless you have been put under covid isolation, then you must contact us immediately.

THE AFTER PARTY
We’ll have music, drinks, and a hot fire. We will be including a ticket to the dinner as part of your race registration
